Regarding the theory, though, I feel like this would make sense if her hair wasn't magical. Considering she can heal a cut hand and return Gothel's youth to her, I think that her hair would heal her head whenever she sang.

The only problem I see is that her hair has magical healing powers, right? It's probably constantly healing her scalp. I mean, if it can reverse aging, then it can probably reverse that.
