Well this was unexpected! Though production on House of the Dragon is still very much in progress, HBO has deigned to gift us with official images of the series’ main characters!

Here we have Olivia Cooke as Alicent Hightower and Rhys Ifans as Otto Hightower
The Sea Snake himself, Steve Toussaint as Lord Corlys Velaryon! Lord, how I love those dreadlocks. 
And last but not least Emma D’Arcy as Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen and Matt Smith as Prince Daemon Targaryen! I hope everyone who thought Smith wouldn’t look the part is feeling foolish right now.
