The first trailer for brand new heist movie The Vault is here, so if you ever wanted to watch Charlie Bucket from the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory remake and Game of Thrones‘ Davos Seaworth rob a bank, now’s your chance.

Directed by Jaume Balagueró, The Vault follows “a crew of master thieves” led by Liam Cunningham as they attempt to steal treasure from an impenetrable fortress under the Bank of Spain in a window of just 105 minutes.

So, it’s a bit like a European Ocean’s Eleven, we guess.

Freddie Highmore stars as the team’s engineer, alongside the likes of X-Mens Famke Janssen and Pirates of the Caribbean‘s Astrid Berges-Frisbey.

The official synopsis describes The Vault as a “globe-trotting, action-packed thriller” about “a high-risk heist”.

It continues: “When an engineer (Highmore) learns of a mysterious, impenetrable fortress hidden under the Bank of Spain, he joins a crew of master thieves who plan to steal the legendary lost treasure locked inside while the whole country is distracted by Spain’s World Cup Final.

“With thousands of soccer fans cheering in the streets, and security forces closing in, the crew have just minutes to pull off the score of a lifetime.”

Liam Cunningham isn’t the only Game of Thrones star to take on an action movie since the series’ end – Lena Headey has landed the role of a hitwoman in the upcoming Gunpowder Milkshake, while Sophie Turner stars as the girlfriend of an underground drug lord in new thriller Heavy.

Game of Thrones seasons 1-8 are available on DVD and Blu-ray.
