Hi Freerk, some guy on YouTube calling himself “Thomas Holland” put a chopped up cut of your video of the making of the Damascus Seax on his channel…
Great job! What do you apply to your metal to turn it really dark?
I'm speechless.
Awesome and amazing work, Freerk.
Amazing work and you do need more than one skill to make something as beutifull as this.
Straight up quality workmanship!
Amazing work! Greetings from Brazil.
VERY GOOD WORK BROTHER
I'd like to buy one of your knives. How should I do? You sell? I'm in Brazil.

how well does it pay to be a blacksmith and what do you do in that field as well im trying to find a trade i like for after high school but dont know if i want to do welding, carpentry, pipe fitting or some other option. would really help to get some info from someone who already is in the field and knows what they're talking about.
Amazing work as always Freerk, new subscriber here but I have been following your work for some time.
I have question though. When you forge a blade, are you following some dimensions or are you just doing it till you "feel" it is the size you desired? Do you measure during the forging so you know you are not making it too big or small?
I am doing stock removal so for me its easy as I cut off what I don't want and I have constantly inscribed design on the blank but I always wondered how is that done in forging.
Aet. Beautiful art.
Greetings !!!!! Can you make a Samshir or Kilij sword ?????
love your work

Gud!
What does the reheating, re-smashing, -re-cutting, repeat do exactly?
AWESOME! Thanks for sharing!!
I was watching the History channel once and they showed a skeleton of a Viking who had a severe blow from a large sword on top of the shoulder where it split the ball of the shoulder joint and it looked like it would be extremely painful. They did note that the wound was probably fatal.
It would be awesome if you were to make an 'Ulfberht' viking sword
Vikings would have raided a whole village just to own that sword .As always you do pristine craftsmanship and great job!
Not to contradict you or anything (I'm seriously just curious), but what exactly makes it wild?
Great movie but explain what progress (which oil using or borax etc..) is it is its very good to go. Thanks for your crawl. I respect… i love your movies…
this is an old video man…….
Freerk, what about making The Green Destiny? You know, the super thin, super strong ultimate sword from Croutching Tiger Hidden Dragon?
What brand hot gloves do you use?
It breaks my heart every time he ruins the shiny metal with gunblue. :C
Oh Look! it's tormund!
i so want one of these would it cost heaps 5 grand?
Weer zeer indrukwekkend!
