As to theon…if you recall one of robbs main bannermen told him he would have his bastard son retake winterfell…later during theons speech to his men he mentions that they are surrounded by northmen then his own man knocks him unconscious and tells the others lets go home.

This episode you just met Lady Olenna Tyrell aka Queen of thorns. She is one of the best player in the game. Compare stupid Catelyn Tully with the savage Olenna Tyrell, you can see why Margaery grew up to be one of the best player in the game while Sansa in season1 just dreamed about a handsome prince and have no idea how to play the game.
Margaery knows how to play the game of thrones. She was raised this way. Sansa clearly doesn't know. But she started learning. In the North politics is simple. You have to follow the rules. In Kings Landing in order to survive you need to know how to play the game! "In the game of thrones you win or you die. There isn't a middle ground"
Cersei is way better than Dany, as you watch more you will see that, Dany is a like a "me , me" 2 year old toddler… Cersei is way more complex

Robb Stark broke his oath to Walder Frey. A person in Robb's position (from a noble house) has responsibilities, you don't marry for love. He was promised to another, he agreed to this, now he broke that oath to marry for love? His men probably don't have as much faith in him anymore.

It's normal to be confused about Theon. Things will get clearer later. Pay attention to the dialogues and you may be able to guess what is going on. If not, no problem. You will eventually find out. I love Margaery too! She's smart and very strategic.
