I think this is the most pivotal moment for Cersei as the "Queen of the Seven Kingdoms". See, before this, she was a queen who just didn't care about the people, but after this moment, she became a queen who HATED the people.

She hates THEM because she saw first hand how much they hate HER.

She was always self-absorved and ruthless towards her political enemies, people of the highest society and rival noble families, but after her walk of shame, she turned her sights to the people and killed hundreds, if not thousands of people when she blew that temple to pieces.

I know she did that to get rid of the Tyrells, but she felt no regret about all the other people that were inside or surrounding the area, cause she knew those were the same people that watched her during her walk of shame.

And that's who she is now, not only does she not give a single fuck about the people she supposedly rules, but she also hates them all and would probably enjoy starting a genocide.
