Jon Snow is killed by Alliser Thorne and other members of the Night’s Watch. Olly enters and claims a Wildling knows where to find Benjen. Jon heads outside. Thorne points Jon in the direction of the man, but Jon only finds a sign that reads “traitor.” Thorne and several other men stab Jon, saying “for the Watch” as they do. Olly is the last. 1. Wilding to Ollie: "I'm going to eat your mommy and daddy. Go and tell the Night's Watch." The Wildling should've stopped talking and eaten the little shit then and there, on the spot instead.

  2. The Ironic thing is that Benjin is actually "alive" beyond the wall. Alive is in quotations because I believe there's some magic keeping him alive that is only in effect when he's beyond the wall.

  3. Even at the time, I knew this wasn't Jon's end. It made no sense. Even as hard as Ned and Robb's deaths were to believe, I could see the reasons behind it for the story. Ned's death was the set up, at the start of the story. Robb, while being painted as the hero, his death made things seem utterly dire for the Starks. They'd basically hit rock bottom at that point.

Jon just dying at the Wall? He'd have contributed absolutely nothing to the story if it had ended there.
