its so clever how they have arya kill the waif in this scene. The waif isnt use to fighting in darkness, but Arya is because she was blind. Arya has the advantage, so in the end the waif helped her by training her to fight blind.

When it goes dark we assume when we see the Waif face that Arya won. But is it possible that the Waif killed Arya and took her face so she could have her life? The face we saw was the Waif but I'm beginning to think Arya doesn't seem like herself anymore. I hope I'm wrong by the way.

Did you realize the change on her walking after the fight? She was injured and hardly walking. And in the next scene she is completely healthy. Actually she walks like Waif.

what i find satisfying about arya's time with the faceless men is that they have demonstrated that we don't know when the waif is jaqen or when jaqen is the waif or who died in jaqen's face. And despite Arya never successfully becoming "no one", they still allow arya to learn from them, use their magic, walk off with skills and faces, which suggests that the faceless men collectively sympathize with her cause, that each and every one of them came to the house of black and white, the Many-Faced-God with rage and vengeance in their hearts.

I'm almost 100% sure Jacquen Hagar is someone who has been watching over arya. You can see he's proud when arya claims her identity and leaves.

I wonder if the waif is even real and not some sort of magical adversary that is meant to mirror trainees. The waif' s backstory was just too close to Arya's. I saw it more as the symbolic death of Arya's singleminded determination and the rebirth of a wiser and attuned assassin.
