  1. Why does everybody say "just zig zag!" that wouldn't make any difference at all – Ramsay Bolton was able to hit a woman running through the forest, he can easily hit Rickon stark out in the open – he was simply toying with Jon Snow, bringing him out into the open, taking control of the battle and breaking his spirit. Secondly, zig-zagging would not be the first thing on your mind – at the end of the day, he's not just trying to avoid the arrows, he's running for his life to get to his brother that he hasn't seen in YEARS! It would take him twice as long to reach Jon if he did a zig-zag all the way there – this isn't a sniper rifle, it's a bow and arrow. Think about it.

  2. People are still wringing their hands over how Sansa dealt with Ramsay, whether it indicates her rise or her fall. I think it's more indicative of her getting real.

In an ideal world, a world of laws and justice, Ramsay would have stood trial and faced punishment for his crimes. But the world of GoT, there is no justice, no authority to which the aggrieved can appeal. It's a world of power and cruelty and vengeance, where guests are slaughtered at their host's tables and honest men are at a disadvantage because they tell the truth. It's an ugly world I would not care to live in; but the point of this story is that these characters have to navigate this universe and survive in it. Some of their choices, inevitably, are less than ideal.

Sansa's character started out as a flighty, unrealistic child. All that was, quite literally, beaten out of her; what she is now is a logical outcome of that history. We still root for her, and Arya and Jon and Tyrion and Daenerys, because we still see some spark of humanity in them, but it would be false to the story to have them be paragons of virtue after everything they've gone through. Sansa dealt with Ramsay, not in an ideal, or even very pretty, way, but in a definite manner that's logical for the world she lives in. Given the premises of the story (and remember, this is a fiction, with its own internal rules), what she did made sense.

We hope that the Starks and Tyrion and Daenerys all emerge triumphant at the end of the story, preferably with their humanity intact, but given the nature of the universe in which they exist, there are no guarantees. GRRM himself has said the conclusion of the story will be bittersweet. We should brace ourselves, and let the story play out.

  3. I do not judge the satisfaction that Ramsay's death brought to me and at least most of us I understand them 100%

At least my mind could go very psychotic (but ONLY in this case) when it comes in terms of killing someone who has killed so many other innocents and characters we have cared about without dying or paying any sort of price of that. I'd really love to see him dying slowly and painfully and I believe this episode brought that to me. Vengeance is FINALLY served.

No I am not like Ramsay at all. Its just feeling that comes and passes when it comes in terms of vengeance. My anger an hatred towards Ramsay was already high after season 3 and it kept rising up to the "psychotic hatred" (no worries though, its more of a mental and inner thing. I never hurt or shared my rage towards ANYONE IRL so it caused no harm to me, because I have patience and can keep myself calm. :P) in that point: I knew that even Joffrey's death pleasure will not be as high as this one and finally when this episode came: FINALLY… Ramsay is dead.

Although Ramsay death was my biggest pleasure of this episode, I really other things in it as well. I also salute Starks whose banner is finally in its rightful place, Daenery's is sailing to Westeross with allies (Soon: Cersei will finally feels the pain as well.) and Arya and her voyage. I hope that Starks will not fight against Daenerys because TRUE war is coming. White Walkers are closer to the Wall and most exciting part of the series is approaching. I CAN'T WAIT >W>
