  1. I hated how people were saying she didn't show any emotion or didn't care much for the dragons death, if you look closely you can see a look on her face, like hits hitting her or she is processing what just happened. She cares. Plus with everything going on around them, its probably not the "perfect" time to just start sobbing and taking your attention completely away from the enemies. She did break down a bit while trying to hold back when Jon kept apologizing to her.

  2. If you watch the full scene..there's a second after the dragon is killed and Jon locks eyes with the Night King. You see pure hatred in Jon's eyes and the Night King is like what you gonna do

  3. Despite the great cinematography and cgi, this was perhaps the stupidest sequence in the entire miniseries.  Why would the Ice King risk missing his throw on a flying dragon at long range, when he could have far more easily hit Drogon sitting literally right in front of him and then the walkers would have  killed all of the humans including two important leaders that  would have then been trapped on the ground?  With all of the other inexplicably dumb things we have seen in Season 7, it almost seems like a 10 year old is writing it now.

  4. I HAVE AN EXPLANATION: first book readers cut the riders some slack, GRRM had several years to write these books. But I will try to help out the writers as of why the night king went after Viserion. First u have to remember why the wights r awaken after so many yrs. If the Night King has powers similar to Bran then he probably sense Danys dragons were born, and he as been plotting on taking Viserion the whole time. The Children of the Forest and the First Men beat the Night King with magic and dragon glass and they built an ice wall. Since then, the Night king has had hundreds of years to plot his next move. He has built an army with giants and probably has a special wight/human force (that were Cresters babies) that share similar powers as him. Problem is he can't get pass the wall. Unless he had a dragon. With his ability to foresight, it is much easier for him to plot. Notice how when he hit hardhome and resurrected the dead army showing Jon how easy it was for him to grow his army. And how he seen Bran spying on him several times. He knew they would eventually call for help knowing they couldn't defeat the Him. The Night King finally baited Dany and her dragons and went after Viserion not only bc he is smaller but his scales and tough dragon skin is thinner than his brothers. Notice how Drogon was pierced with a metal sphere and still survived. The knight King new that this was a once in a lifetime opportunity and could not take any chances going after Dragon with an ice sphere. He probably would have only wounded him and Dany would of probably fled seeing the risk and never attempt to get close to him again. Now if the night king had of successfully killed Drogon on the ground (which seemed like the easier target) Jon Snow or the other men would have insisted Dany to Burn Drogon right away. Viserion was a much better target not only bc he was smaller but also bc he was flying and the night king new he would plunged into the icy lake, preserving the body. If viserion hadn't fallen into the lake then Dany could have burned him or had Drogon possible carry him out. By the look of the Night Kings face and demeanor he knew exactly what he was doing, and he knew how important this opportunity was for him. Night king probably got chains from Hardhome and the lake isn't that deep, so it was probably not too difficult for the wights to put a hook on some chain and fish out Viserion.

  5. everything said i was literally hurt when Viserion got shot with that ice shot-put and died the cries of his brothers I literally cried waterfalls , i watched them grow hell they're my children too , I hate when they kill the animals like ok its needed but whyyyyyyyyyy

  6. Well… I guess dying by having one's belly ripped open and gushing blood/burning/crashing & sinking into ice cold water… could maybe be considered the adverse side effects of an "injury".

  7. The guy who was battling Wights near the end, Jon jumped up and slashed the Wight. The guy fell backward into a horde, his arms flailing for Jon. It took him seconds to turn not a Wight. But, I'm sure previously a dead body did not turn for hours. I mean the initial Wight that Jon encountered in Season 1, the big bald guy who tried to kill the Nights Watch Lord Commander. So, how come our falling friend perished and reanimated so so quickly; proximity to the Night King? I don't know, but…if fallen soldiers turn that quickly, there is ZERO chance the Night Kings army will be defeated in a conventional battle.
