For 300 years Targaryans were marrying first degree relatives on order to preserve their purity. Aegon I the conqueror married both his sisters, Visenya and Raenys. Daenery's parents were also siblings. For Targeryen's this is common. But I believe Jon won't accept it. But if Dany gets pregnant he will marry her because he doesn't want his child to be a bastard!

The Starks have been marrying relative for centuries. Ned father married his cousin, although once removed however. Another Stark married his niece, although it was his half brothers daughter. Tywin Lannister however married his 1st cousin Joanna Lannister.

I disagree, Cersei is rather dumb. She's severely underestimating the threat of the White Walkers. I'm actually afraid she didn't kill either Jaime or Tyrion because she has something else in mind. Something bad!
