Last week the winds of winter came to a chilly BFI Southbank as the cast and crew of HBO’s decade-defining TV show Game of Thrones gathered for a series retrospective.
To celebrate the DVD and Blu-ray release of Game of Thrones, Isaac Hempstead-Wright (Bran Stark), Gemma Whelan (Yara Greyjoy) and Kristofer Hivju (Tormund Giantsbane) were on hand to showcase some never seen before bonus material on the big screen for the first time, which was followed by a panel discussion with host Edith Bowman. The cast was joined on stage by members of the off-screen team that helped create the show: Sarah and Barrie Gower (Prosthetics Department), Tommy Dunne (Weapons Master) and Michele Clapton (Costume Design).
Colin Hart and Scott Davis were our Men of the Watch on the red carpet, and we spoke to the cast and crew about their memories of the show, their characters, and which moment from the whole ten years stood out most to them.
Game of Thrones Seasons 1-8 – The Complete Series will be available on Blu-ray and DVD on the 2nd of December.
