Game of Thrones had a lot of atrocities committed on-screen. There were times viewers were disgusted by the extremities exhibited by some of the characters, especially inappropriate behaviour with children. No one can forget the forced kissing scene between young Sansa and Littlefinger. Something similar has happened in real life that involves a Game of Thrones actor, quite shockingly. Actor Joseph Gatt was arrested a few days ago for inappropriate communication with a minor. His case is under investigation currently at LAPD.

Gatt played a member of the Thenn tribe in season 4, a group that is known for its cannibalistic practices. He had the ability to warg with an owl (meaning a sort of mind-melding bond), an ability that served him well in his position as a scout for Styr, the Magnar of Thenn. Gatt appeared in three episodes, and was shot in the head with a crossbow in season 4, episode 9, “The Watchers on the Wall” which ended his arc on the show.

As per a report released by LAPD, the actor was arrested following a tip-off that he had been “allegedly [engaging] in online sexually explicit communication with a minor across state lines.” Gatt responded with a statement on social media denying any allegations of wrongdoing and saying that he is cooperating with authorities to resolve the situation.
