Game of Thrones has had a great cast over the years, and we have seen some great actors bringing the characters to life. In recent times, we have lost quite a few Game of Thrones actors, including Neil Fingleton, who played Mag the Mighty, and Peter Vaughan, who played the role of Aemon Targaryen. The Game of Thrones fandom has suffered another loss today, as actor Roy Dotrice, who appeared on the show as Hallyne the Pyromancer, has now passed away. Read on!

Roy Dotrice passed away today, at 94, surrounded by his family, reports The Sun. He played Hallyne the Pyromancer, who is the head of the Alchemists’ Guild in King’s Landing, and appeared in two episodes of Game of Thrones in Season 2 of the show. Not only that, he also narrated the A Song Of Ice And Fire audiobook collection, making him an even bigger part of Game of Thrones, and getting him a spot in the Guinness World Records in 2004 for the greatest number of characters voiced in an audio book, having voiced 224 characters. He was also famous for his role as Leopold Mozart in Oscar-winning movie, Amadeus.

He apparently “died peacefully on Monday October 16 in his London home surrounded by family, including his three daughters, grandchildren and great-grandson”. Peace be with him. Talk to us in the comments, down below!
