Joffrey was unpredictable. He was lose canon, that fires in every direction. It was so compelling to watch everyone try to control him. They ultimately failed so they killed him off. Tommen was easy a sheep in a lions and thorns nest. Not as much fun to watch. Joffrey will always be missed even now.
