Con of Thrones 2019, the premiere convention for all things Game of Thrones and A Song of Ice and Fire, kicks off on July 12 at the Music City Center in Nashville, Tennessee. There’s already an impressive lineup of cast and crew members attending, including stars Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister), Joe Dempsie (Gendry), Hannah Murray (Gilly) and Miltos Yerolemou (Syrio Forel), as well as concept artist Kieran Belshaw. Now, Con of Thrones has announced that Hauke Richter, the art director on the show since season 4, is joining the party.

We actually haven’t heard much from Richter over the years — I haven’t seen interviews with him like I have with costume designer Michele Clapton or production designer Deborah Riley. But as the guy who brings the artistic vision of the show together, his job is incredibly important, particularly on a show as visually splendid as Game of Thrones. I’ll very much look forward to hearing what he has to say.

And there may be more guests announced as we closer to the day. In addition to the actors and crew members, Con of Thrones will have hours and hours and hours of programming, parties, and the like. It’s always been a good time in the past. If you want to join the fun, you can find out more on the official website.
