As the series nears the end it will begin to feature more and more battles between some of this stories biggest characters. Game of Thrones Season 7 is reported to have 3 major battles during the span of the season. In this video I detail all of those battles and I discuss some potential fights we could see during a flashback scene that I think most of us hope we get to see. Assuming that Euron bites the dust before a couple of the other major baddies, it would be fun if we see him putting on the armor, bragging about how badass it is, and then immediately being cooked alive inside it by a dragon when he steps out in the open.

If Dany were as clever as she seems, she'd send the unsullied find the Lord commander of the battle, isolate him and his Captains, then fly down for the BBQ. Tell the soldiers to bend the knee or get roasted. Move on to the next miscreants, repeat. Even if she loses a dragon, or two, she can probably do a repeat of Aegon's conquest. At least til the ice zombies come down…then nost so much.

As for Euron, absolutely yes, if he is anything like the books he will make Joffrey and Ramsey look like cheap punks. Euron is a monster in human skin and he will show us in S7 for sure. I'm guessing your prediction are going to be accurate, we will get a 5 minute sea-battle between Asha's fleet plus the Dornish fleet vs. the iron fleet, who will make short work of the former thus explaining the spoiler shots of Euron parading Asha in chains through the streets of KL.
Re that Valyrian armor, if it DOES turn out to be "dragon-proof" it will be a notable plot device, but will just further cheapen the story. Though as you say, that might be the true reason Euron even had it made, it would be nothing more then a cheap story device. We have been shown that almost nothing is proof against dragon-fire, even the stones of Harrenhal, so if Euron's magic armor stops that – then might as well have Tyrek Lannister show up from the dead, wearing Renly's ghost armor, waving Brightroar and riding a unicorn.
