Games are a source of entertainment that creates a virtual space for all the action we could’ve imagined doing or watching on-screen in films and TV. With mobile-users at an all-time high, games are exclusively designed now for mobile interfaces. Among these, the one that’s been of huge interest lately is Game of Thrones Beyond the Wall. The game has already arrived for Apple users on iPhone and iPad App Store, and set to debut tomorrow, on April 3, for Android users on the Play Store. That’s not it – the game will also launch on Huawei’s AppGallery on April 3, 2020.
We know Huawei as the Chinese tech company whose smartphones have been a big hit all over the world. What we didn’t know is that Huawei worked closely with Beyond the Wall’s developer Behavior Interactive, as per Tech Advisor. And thus, the game has landed on AppGallery, Huawei’s own version of Play Store minus the services from Google. Game of Thrones Beyond the Wall is integrated with Huawei Media Services (HMS) for its in-app purchases and account creation through Huawei’s Account Kit. So, users of Mate 30 pro or the new P40 series by Huawei outside China will be able to play the game on the same day as the Google Play Store-equipped devices.
Huawei’s phones already have a few methods to get Android apps on their phones; one of them is using a Phone Clone that copies an app from another Android device. But there’s nothing quite like having it straight on AppGallery, which allows automatic and easy updates. Huawei, by the way, bargains much better than other players in the market. It currently offers a revenue of 85% to the game developers for a period of two years; in contrast to the usual 70% prevalent in the business. No wonder the company is the second biggest manufacturer of smartphones in the world, just behind Samsung.
Game of Thrones Beyond the Wall is a game based in the universe of Westeros; it takes us ranging through the mysteries beyond the Wall involving the Three-Eyed Raven. We have talked about the specific features before; and we know it allows users to be the Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch and engage in an original story set fifty years before the events of the HBO TV show. A player can recruit some new characters along with many fan favorites from across the Seven Kingdoms; including Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen, and Jaime Lannister.
Pre-registration enabled rewards for Apple and Android users. Similarly, anyone who installs and registers to play Beyond the Wall within 120 days of its launch on AppGallery will be entitled to special rewards that include carved glyphs and shards of Jon Snow.
Are you excited to play the game? Or have you played it already? In any case, tell us your thoughts in the comments section below.
