Are we ever going to see a Game of Thrones trailer? (Picture: HBO/Helen Sloan)

Game Of Thrones’s full-length trailer is still not materialising and, quite frankly, the chances of it happening any time soon appears pretty slim.

Evidently, the team are making sure they’re playing their cards very close to their chest to avoid any last season spoilers, and HBO programming president Casey Bloys isn’t giving up any secrets.

Speaking to TheWrap, he said of the trailer: ‘All in the works. I can’t reveal the dates.

‘I’ve seen a cut. I don’t know if I’ve seen a finished one.’

There’s a lot of problems on the horizon for the new series (Picture: HBO)

So that tells us…at least there is one, we guess?

However, he did add fuel to the fire that a lot of the final episodes will be feature-length – if not all six of them.

He said: ‘Somewhere, some editing facility somebody saw something. That’s where it’s coming from.

‘They are not all feature-length episodes. Some are to time, some are longer. They’re still editing.’

As the show reaches its dramatic conclusion, there’s a lot that needs to be answered (Picture: HBO)

There’s just over two months to go before the show is back on our screens and a trailer will be the least of our worries.

With teaser photos at least being released, questions have already been raised as fans grab on to anything to sneak a new fan theory in before the show’s final bows.

In one, the ‘pregnant’ Cersei doesn’t look too baby bumpy – which could cause massive trouble on the series.

It’s already theorised that Jaime could turn against her, and if she’s lying about being pregnant? That could be the final push he needed.

As the current resident of the Iron Throne, she’s given up everything in order to stake her claim on it.

But was it even worth it now children have died and she has no one left?

Game of Thrones season 8 premieres 14 April on HBO in the US and Sky Atlantic in the UK.
