Game of Thrones fans were speculating for years about how the hit HBO series would come to an end. After plenty of waiting, it was revealed Bran Stark (played by Isaac Hempstead-Wright) would rule over the Six Kingdoms.
A group of nobles gathered at the Dragonpit in the finale to decide who should rule over Westeros and after a suggestion from Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) it should be Bran, they were all in agreement.
His sister Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) however chose to rule over the North independently, a move many fans also did not see.
But one viewer appears to have uncovered the biggest hint yet that revealed Bran was also set to be King.
In the books by George R.R. Martin, which the TV series is based upon, it seems the writer dropped a rather subtle hint about the ending.
A passage from A Clash Of Kings, posted by Redactor lindstrom11_, sees Bran’s mother Catelyn Stark (Michelle Fairley) suggest the nobles in Westeros should listen to her son and vote for the next ruler.
It reads: “‘Robb will set aside his crown if you and your brother will do the same,’ she said, hoping it was true.
“She would make it true if she must; Robb would listen to her, even if his lords would not.
“‘Let the three of you call for a Great Council, such as the realm has not seen for a hundred years.
“We will send to Winterfell, so Bran may tell his tale and all men may know the Lannisters for the try usurpers.
