EW spoke with Sophie Turner about her upcoming film “X-Men: Dark Phoenix,” and talk naturally turned to the final season of “Game of Thrones.” When asked how the cast and crew reacted with things headed toward the end, Turner detailed a bittersweet gathering. “We had the read-through a while ago and at the end of it, we were all on our feet, applauding and crying,” said Turner. Given how sprawling and long-lasting the show has been, bringing everyone back together as the final moments of the show were read out must have been an intense and emotional experience for everyone involved. “Game of Thrones” season 9 is set to air in 2019.
