The famous Game Of Thrones castmate WhatsApp is still in high use, according to Lena Headey.
The actress, who played Cersei Lannister on the HBO show has revealed the close cast are still in contact even though the finale aired last month.
During filming of the show, many cast members spoke about the famous group chat on WhatsApp and now Lena has let us know they’re all tight.
In fact, they’re in contact on a daily basis.
‘We’re all on a giant WhatsApp group which is a daily pile-on,’ she told Observer newspaper.
‘It’s hilarious. You can tell who’s been drinking on that one.’
What we wouldn’t give to get a real world insight into that group chat…
Maisie Williams, who plays young assassin Arya Stark, spoke about the chat earlier this year, sharing an insight into what goes down.
‘We have a Game of Thrones WhatsApp and people just post really funny pictures of one another from various seasons,’ Maisie laughed while talking at the Glamour Beauty Festival in London in March.
‘I think there was a rule these do not go on Instagram… but I’m definitely going to put them on Instagram.’
The end of the eighth series saw Cersei unceremoniously dumped from the throne after she was killed alongside twin brother/lover Jaime.
While viewers of the show may still be in mourning for the show, after we dedicated the past 10 years to the epic based on the books of George RR Martin, Lena admitted she isn’t dwelling on the closing of the final chapter.
‘When I was much younger I would weep every time I ended a job, and I would take everybody’s phone number, every single person I’d ever said hello to, because it had been such an intense experience,’ she said. ‘And then you get older and you have more of those experiences and they become less intense.
‘I think the guys who grew up on that show, they probably formed really deep friendships that will carry them through. But most of us have our own kids. If kids don’t balance you, then nothing does.’
