SPOILERS!!! In a Dance with Dragons, George RR Martin introduces (reintroduces?) readers to the disgraced former Hand of the King Jon Connington who served under the Mad King. In Book 5, it is revealed that the rumors of the former Hand’s demise have been greatly exaggerated. With his reintroduction, the audience also comes to know that Lord Connington has been living for one purpose only: to seat the rightful king of Westeros on the Iron Throne. Here is a few suggestion on who HBO and Nina Gold can get to play the Lord of Griffin’s Roost….

The song used is Hells Bells by AC/DC because of what haunts Connington every time he wants to go to sleep and because of what the audience finds about his condition.

  1. Yes LOL you are right! that Ron Pearlman was that movie in the name of the king blame the director not the actor. Thanks for answering LOL But this Kevin well he now (Grey whatever ) maybe he will go on GOT as Jon Connington here to hoping.

  2. Don't get me wrong, he is bloody good actor, FOR certain parts. He has a thick american / new york accent, and he is type casted as a thug/gangster in most movies. For gods sake Sophia, the man was in uwe boll's movie "in the name of the king", which he was a knight with a american accent. Kevin on the other hand was a stoic, and hard character in Rome, and his apperance fits Jon perfectly, the man was made to be Jon Connington.

  3. KEVIN MCKIDD is PERFECT for Connington. Only a madman would put Ron Pearlman in a show like game of thrones, but Kevin is the perfect choice. In rome as Vorenus he has the perfect behavior of Connington!

  4. 😀 … that was a reaction to the first comment, not to the video! You made me laugh though, with the James Purefoy thing:D And the last one wouldn't actually be that bad as Connington!
