I had two Game of Thrones finale watching parties to go to so I made a 3-eyed raven costume. I wanted the wingspan to be about 10 feet across (it ended up being about 9ft), lightweight wings as to not be too hot and uncomfortable, some real feathers involved, and a beak made out of a see-through visor. I sewed extendable dusters into the wings to extend them past my hands, 3 layers of lightweight black cotton blend fabric for the wings, with my arms being able to come out under the first layer to be able to eat, etc. Under the wings I wore a black tank top and leggings. The head was made from a feathered vintage pillbox hat, and I added the visor, more feathers to cover the back of my head and part of my face, and big buttons that looked like eyes. The feathers were black rooster feathers.
