Daniel Portman, who plays Podrick Payne on Game Of Thrones, has revealed following one particular brothel scene ‘older women’ have ‘assaulted’ him on the street.

Not cool, older women of the world.

The star opened up about one moment on the HBO show which saw his lovable character’s sexual prowess come to light, after three prostitutes declined payment from Tyron Lannister (Peter Dinklage) because Pod’s lovemaking skills were just that good.

Following that scene, the actor has admitted people have seen him in a whole new light.

But it’s involved some unwanted physical attention.

‘I’ve been grabbed by so many… like the amount of like older, older women who are very…’ the 27-year-old told Esquire, reportedly making a grabbing hand gesture.

He continued: ‘What can you do? You know? Obviously tell them not to do it. It hasn’t happened for a while.

‘In this day and age you’d think that people would be able to separate reality from fiction. I don’t want to say it comes with the territory, but, you know, people are crazy about it. It’s certainly not cool.’

He was never told a backstory as to why Pod was apparently pretty good in the sack, though.

And while he’s not happy with the physical interaction fans have, he’s also pretty confused as to what to tell those who curiously inquire about whether the character’s skills go real life.

‘A magician never reveals his secrets,’ he told the publication. ‘If I f**king knew my life would be very different. I was 20 when that happened, so it was kind of like a kid in a candy shop. When you tell a 20-year-old actor, who’s sort of stumbled onto this big TV show, that all of a sudden you’re meant to be Casanova, people all over the world wonder whether or not it’s true. I would be lying if I said that that hadn’t been fun.’

In the second episode of the final series, Pod is about to join his boss Brienne Of Tarth on the battlefield, as they take on the White Walkers.

While his fate is up to George RR Martin, we can only hope our lovable squire lives to tell all in Westeros about that time in the brothel.

Good times.

Game Of Thrones returns Sunday and Monday on HBO in the US and Sky Atlantic in the UK. And is available to watch on NOW TV.
