Warning: Game Of Thrones season 8 spoilers ahead.

Emilia Clarke has referenced one of the more awkward revelations in Game Of Thrones by posting a ‘family portrait’ with co-star Kit Harington – but managed to spell his name wrong.

They’ve only starred alongside each other for eight years.

The Daenerys Targaryen actress posted a sweet snap of the co-stars poking their heads through a Vikings themed cut-out.

‘The family portrait #kitharrington #jeneregretterien #okmaybehereiseetheresemblance,’ the 32-year-old captioned it.

After a decade on the same show and falling head over heels into an incestuous relationship on-screen – she even went to his wedding to Rose Leslie! – Emilia thinks Harington is spelled ‘Harrington’.

Regardless, some fans were living for the snap, with one commenting: ‘LOVE YOU MY QUEEN.’

‘Lmfao you two are hilarious,’ another added.

Meanwhile, some were a little more disturbed given the recent revelation, with one of Emilia’s followers telling her: ‘Khaleesi Please.’

We feel you.

The photo hits a little too close to home for some GOT viewers, after it was revealed last series that Kit’s character Jon Snow is actually Daenerys’ nephew and the true heir to the Iron Throne – despite them having fallen in love.

Classic family problem, y’know?

While Jon himself found out in the season eight premiere after best pal Samwell Tarly (John Bradley) spilled all, the character left his his beau (and aunt) with a face like thunder after letting her in on the secret.

However, the actors have proven that they find the situation just as gross as we do after Kit was seen gagging after kissing his co-star in a behind the scenes video.

Charming!

In the same video, we were shown how the gorgeous waterfall scene came to be – with set designers, cinematographers and a bunch of crew members dealing with harsh weather in Iceland in order to make it perfect.

It was revealed that with the exception of the waterfall, which was later CGIed in, it was all real – and that beautiful landscape actually exists.

Meanwhile, Emilia, who recently opened up about suffering from brain aneurysms back in the first season of the fantasy series, has been preparing to say goodbye to the series by posting behind the scenes pics and adorable snaps with her co-stars.

With the show’s finale quickly closing in on us, we’re definitely not prepared to let our faves go.

Game Of Thrones continues this Sunday on HBO and will be simulcast on Sky Atlantic. Seasons one to seven are avilable to stream on NOW TV.
