Emilia Clarke has discussed one particularly gross incident from her time guest starring in Doctors.
Prior to her breakout role as Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones, the actress’ first ever TV job was on the daytime medical soap in 2009, but one crew member added some extra stress to the situation… by passing wind at the worst possible time.

Attending this month’s virtual Edinburgh TV Festival, Emilia revealed (via The Huffington Post): “There was a really small space and they were like, ‘OK, we have literally got time for one take, I’m really sorry Emilia, I know this is your debut on TV but we’ve got one take so don’t mess it up’.
“I walk into this really small office and I’m meant to look shocked and alarmed and really upset about what I’m looking at. Just horrified.”
However, a crew member then proceeded to “let one rip” as she was preparing to do the scene – “I was like, ‘We have got one take, just smell the smell!'”

Meanwhile, the Thrones favourite previously opened up about her efforts to “lead a normal life” despite a stratospheric level of fame.
“I move like a shark when I’m in public,” she confessed. “Head down. I think I’ve got quite bad posture because of it, because I’m determined to lead a normal life. So I just move too quickly for anyone to register if it’s me or not.
“And I don’t walk around with six security men and big sunglasses and a bizarre coat. I really try to meld in.”
Game of Thrones seasons 1-8 are now available on DVD and Blu-ray.
