Game Of Thrones star Emilia Clarke has finally set the record straight over who really left that infamous coffee cup in one of the scenes from season eight’s The Last Of The Starks.
A particular clip in the fourth episode of the HBO series’ finale, in which a coffee cup had been left in the shot, had left viewers baffled.
And while many fans thought it was a Starbucks coffee cup, it was not – the cup was actually from Belfast’s Titanic Quarter.
Emilia, who played Daenerys Targaryen in GOT, has received a lot of the blame since the incident happened, especially after her co-star Sophie Turner threw her under the bus.
However, we no longer have to wonder who it was because the actress has come clean and put all those rumours to bed.
In a clip from Wednesday’s The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the actress finally revealed the truth.
She explained to the talk show host: ‘We had like a party before the Emmys recently, and Conleth [Hill], who plays Varys, who’s sitting next to me in that scene, he pulls me aside and he’s like, “Emilia, I’ve got to tell you something. I’ve got to tell you something, love. The coffee cup was mine!”
‘It was his! It was Conleth’s coffee cup. He said so.’
She continued: ‘He said he didn’t want to say anything at the time because “the heat was very much on you” and I was like “what?”
‘So that’s who I think that did it, well he told me he did it but then he might have been drunk.’
So now we know!
Seasons 1-8 of Game Of Thrones are available to stream on NOW TV.
