Game Of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke might have been left in tears after filming for the fantasy saga officially wrapped up.

However, we can’t help but think she had a huge smile on her face when receiving that final pay cheque.

Turns out the 32-year-old earned just as much as her male co-stars – and we are over the moon for the Khaleesi star.

Sounds like being the Mother of Dragons isn’t a bad job after all.

The star is reportedly worth a whopping $13million (£9,760,000), from both her role in the HBO drama, as well as her campaign with Dolce & Gabbana.

Back in 2014, Deadline reported that Emilia, as well as her fellow GOT stars Kit Harington, Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey, and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau had negotiated a $300,000 (£225,000) salary increase for every episode in seasons five and six.

It’s said that the five actors then renegotiated their pay to an incredible $500,000 (£375,000) per episode for season seven.

Chatting about her salary to Vanity Fair, the Daenerys actress said: ‘I get f**king paid the same as my guy friends. We made sure of that.’

Cheers to that.

Emilia has recently spoken about how she reacted to filming the finale of the popular series – and it turns out she couldn’t stop crying.

We think we’d also be sobbing if we were no longer earning around $3million (£2,250,000) per season.

Chatting to Press Association, she said: ‘That was the moment I realised that alcohol can also be a depressant.

‘I was kind of nursing a glass of wine going, “I don’t know why I’m not getting any happier from this!”’

Clarke also said that there was an ‘equal amount of fear’ in terms of comparing how she felt filming her first GOT scene with her last.

The A-lister then recalled how she walked around London ‘aimlessly’ for three hours after learning Daenerys’ fate in the final season for the first time.

She told the publication: ‘It might as well have been raining and I would’ve just walked in it not knowing what to do.’

Game Of Thrones returns April 15 on Sky Atlantic and NOW TV.
