Game of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke is one of the bravest and most dedicated actresses in the film industry. She persisted even though she had two potentially fatal brain aneurysms while filming Game of Thrones. Despite the intense heat and long workdays, she persisted. All because she feared disappointing the showrunners more than her own death. Clarke was recently awarded with Harper’s Bazaar’s ‘Woman of the Year’ 2023.

Clarke’s talent in the acting industry is well known, and her range extends from the multi-season fantasy epic Game of Thrones to indie films like Pod Generation. Among the recipients of this year’s Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards are Emilia Clarke and Jenna Ortega. Oscar winner Olivia Colman, Naomi Watts from King Kong, and actress Kim Cattrall from Sex in the City presented awards at the upscale fashion magazine’s annual ceremony held at London’s Claridge’s Hotel.
