Let’s not mince words: this is the episode where sh*t goes down. The dead have arrived at Winterfell. Do the living have what it takes to defeat them? We’re about to find out.
If I were you, I’d be prepared for anything. This promises to be the action centerpiece of the final season of Game of Thrones, a show that has become famous in part for its action centerpieces. There is NO WAY we get through this battle without losing at least a few beloved characters.
On the other hand, the cast and crew worked on this episode longer and harder than any other in the show’s history. They want to shock and awe us. We’re probably going to be curled up in little balls of pain by the end of this episode, but we’ll probably be impressed on the way there.
