A Game Of Thrones fan has created some pretty cool trailers for the previously announced prequel House of the Dragon.

Back in October, HBO announced it will be making House Of The Dragon, focusing on Daenerys Targareyn’s (Emilia Clarke) House Targaryen ancestors.

While we know next to nothing about the project – apart from a pretty basic poster – one fan has taken it upon themselves to whip up some homemade promo in the form of teaser clips.

On their YouTube channel (called Game Of Thrones, which is probably a bit risky), they uploaded a series of short trailers that they have dressed up to look like official HBO videos.

The most impressive unofficial teaser shows a dragon’s egg being place onto a fire, before a tiny, scaly dragon tries to burst its way out.

At the end of the trailer, the House Targaryen words ‘Fire and blood’ can be seen.

Another animated trailer calls the show ‘thrilling’, ‘colossal’, ‘remarkable’ and ‘majestic’ – all things fans hope the actual prequel will be.

Set 300 years before the events of Game Of Thrones, little is known about House Of The Dragon’s plot line, other than its connection to the Targaryen family history at the beginning of Westeros.

According to Game Of Thrones mythology, the Targaryen clan are one of the former Royal houses within the Seven Kingdoms, who ruled an empire.

Often followed by three dragons, their family declaration is ‘fire and blood’ and they often left both in their wake as they attempted to take over the kingdoms and eventually the walls outside Westeros.

But their thirst for power often saw members of the family descend into madness as their behaviour became more erratic and violent – and at most posts would end in their death.

This basically follows Daenerys’ fate in the final season of Game Of Thrones, as people feared she would become a tyrant after she used her dragons to raze King’s Landing to the ground.

Ultimately she was killed by her lover Jon Snow (Kit Harington) in the last ever episode.

The House of the Dragon announcement came shortly after it was revealed that another prequel Bloodmoon, starring Naomi Watts, would be canned.
