GAME Of Thrones fans have been speculating that the next series will finally see Sansa Stark and Daenerys Tagaryen meeting for the first time.
That’s because Daenerys alter-ego Emilia Clarke and actress Sophie Turner who plays Sansa have been spotted together on set of the final series in Belfast.
The possible meeting would have a huge impact on the story and fans are even more sure it will happen as Mother of Dragons Dany was on her way to the North at the end of series seven.
But if Sansa gets wind of Danaerys’ blossoming – and ultimately doomed – romance with Jon Snow, things might not be too friendly between them.
Previously Sansa has been seen feeling bitter about Jon giving her little attention so this might push her over the edge.
Alternatively she might join forces with Dany, and also Arya Stark, to fight for the Iron Throne – though it may soon become clear that Jon is the natural heir because of his secret Targaryen blood.
Whatever happens between Sansa and Dany, the HBO drama is now hurtling towards its conclusion – and the actors have even read the final page of the script.
Kit Harington, aka Jon Snow, has revealed that he sobbed when he read the last episode and says it will be devastating to leave the programme he’s been on for eight years.
Meanwhile Kit, who is engaged to marry GoT co-star Rose Leslie, also revealed that show bosses like to order him around by threatening to release embarrassing footage from an episode that was scrapped.
Recalling the low-quality pilot, he said: “They made a lot of mistakes. It didn’t look right, didn’t feel right, had nothing different about it.
“They say, if I ever p**s them off too much, they’ll release it on YouTube.
“Every now and then, they send me a screengrab, just as a threat,” he added.
Filming for Game Of Thrones series eight began earlier this month and there is no predicted start date yet.
It’s been a whopping eight years since the fantasy show kicked off and 195 characters have been killed in a variety of brutal ways over that time.
