2019 will finally be the year that we get some answers about Game of Thrones – no, honestly, it will be!
Season eight is due to premiere sometime in April, providing fans with the final block of episodes as a whole host of loose ends are set to be tied up to bring to an end months – if not years – of speculation among the show’s fervent fanbase.
Said fans needed no reminding that the arrival of 2019 earlier this week meant that it is now finally the year that we will get some much-needed GoT answers, but the show’s US network HBO decided to poke the hornet’s nest anyway with this timely tweet on New Year’s Day.
Happy New Year, everybody!
Needless to say, GoT fans took this opportunity to ask HBO some quickfire questions, namely: where is the trailer?
One fan offered some hope to impatient GoT fans, pointing out that, in previous years, the trailer for a new season has traditionally been dropped in the second week of January.
Just a few more days then, people – what’s another week when we’ve already waited this long?
‘Jon is someone who plays by the book. He cannot lie,’ Harington revealed. ‘Finding out about Dany would be very hard for him.’
Season eight is going to be sooo good.
