Welcome back for another Game of Thrones Season 8 Update Video. Thanks to an Icelandic website we now know Game of Thrones will be returning to Iceland to film scenes for its final season. They have filmed here before and those locations were typically used for scenes in the far north but mostly beyond the wall. Not only will they be filming in Iceland but they have scheduled to film there in February which is the middle of winter. This is interesting because it can mean a number of things but we also have to keep in mind winter is here in westeros. Most of the North will resemble terrain North of the wall. Just for fun I figured I would do some speculating anyway. Let me know if you have an interesting ideas about this update. Put it down below. Thanks for watching!

  2. I am with you on the last part. It was also confirmed by both GRRM and Dan and Dave, that the endgame will be like final, there will be no cliffhangers or unresolved parts left. This will be it for real. So, the only way this can end is with either side being completely destroyed and I do not see the Others winning this personally, so this means bye-bye NK and his zombie horde.

  5. How epic would it be if Cersei sends an assassin to kill Jaime after he helps kill the night king, which infuriates Tyrion who rides to kings landing to kill her. He confronts her but cersei sends the mountain to kill him when the hound steps out of the shadows! Cleganebowl! Epic!

    Just an humble note: I like the viewers predictions and ideas under the videos aswell.

    I really think producers and the Writer should give a chance to the brainstorming fans keep up with.

    So many possiblites for future scenarios…It'd may make the future projects cost more but it certainly worths it if A Song of Ice and Fire will hold a place in the future.

    Those other fictional universes and the heroes out there got pumped up too much…Anytihng was too predictable over popularity.They were are all consumed too fast at a decade the most.

    I really hope neither the makers of the show nor Mr Martin rushes at anything.I hope they do not focus on any heroic character but the fictional universe and fictional cultures more and leave extras for future projects to keep up with the continuity.

    So there can be many more stories to be told;and enjoyed without going etremely romantic.

  15. Great videos. I'm in Ireland and already visited some GoT sites. One day I'll catch something interesting to send you , just to have my name said (if I don't win a blu-ray, of course). But I want to bring one thing. You keep saying that Tormond need to find some place to go down from the Wall, as when the Night King destroyed where he was, the lift might have been destroyed as well. But didn't he climb the wall with Jon Snow once? Climbed up and came back… so maybe he could do that again and teach Beric how to do it, what do you think?

  26. Was thinking a bit. People were turning to wights when they went past the wall. With the wall gone… does that mean anyone in a graveyard or dies in battle now will turn into a walker in Westeros?

  29. This doesn't have anything to do with the video but is it at all possible that the reason the night king is awoken is because the wrong family is on throne. The Targaryans are supposed to be on the throne and ever since Jamie killed the Mad king and Rheagar was killed in Roberts rebellion the wrong family has been sitting on the iron throne. first it was Robert Baratheon and now its Cersei Lannister. I think this is the Knight Kings purpose. to restore a Targaryen to the Throne. I've always thought this from the very beginning. When Dany was sitting on Drogon at the frozen lake north of the wall he could have hurled that spear through Drogon. He also seems to have an infatuation with Jon Snow…..

  30. The filming of the North could be attributed to how to kill the Ice King. Remember the place where he turned the babies? That was a magical place where he drew his power from and could be through its destruction be a key in finally destroying the Night King and his hordes. Look back at that episode. That episode was a fore shadowing of his Archele's heel as well as his strength.

  31. May be bran look in past and see the first men buried something with dragon glass and horn. To find that men at wall will go beyond wall at the place where they found dragon glass and do some digging there to find something helpful to defeat others.
