Welcome back for another Game of Thrones Season 8 Update video. A few new reports have came out about this upcoming season. Liam Cunningham was recently interviewed by TV Guide and he discussed the filming schedule that begins this month and according to Liam the filming won’t end until this Summer. This most likely means we won’t see Season 8 until 2019.. I also have a new photo from the location in Northern Ireland that has been used as Riverrun.. It appears like the set is slowly being taken down and the secretly guards are no longer there watching over the property. This could also mean we will not be seeing this site again but who knows Edmure Tully could still come into the fold. Let me know your thoughts and questions. Thanks for watching today’s video!

  1. I think it depends on the order that they film things.. No reason why they cannot show the first three episodes while they edit and do the cgi on the last three…. I hate this waiting because I have seen a series book, movie, or television series where it wasn't a let down… In all cases we are given the same story, I hope that I am wrong…

  2. Hello TT.
What do you think about the idea of when Jon Snow was sick as a baby, he actually had already died once and came back to life on Caitlyn’s prayers?
It would explain further more why he never felt he fit in besides just being an outsider to the family

  3. What do you think about Tyrion making a deal with Cersei? i was just rewatching the last episode and a lot of the focus is on the future and children. In a previous episode Tryion was talking about a successor for Dany. What if he made a deal with Cersei to have her and jaime's child rule after Dany dies? This could be another reason that Tyrion did not look happy about Jon and Dany getting it on because it could lead to a child and heir disrupting his pact with Cersei.

  4. Thank you so much for keeping us in the loop, TT! You're the best at up to date information and I appreciate your hard work very much! I'm not thrilled to hear it's definitely going to be 2019, but, hey…like you said, longer production schedule = even better quality programming. Although, no matter what, I always give D&D a lot of leeway. Anyway, thank you and have a great Saturday GoT lovers!!

  5. A man has waited for the long night for a long time. A man never has patience., but happy if it takes to 2019. This will be epic of a new kind and art takes time.

  6. How cool would it be if Jon and Gendry both get their fathers helmets and wear them fighting side by side this season. Gendry would wear the helmet with tall antlers coming out each side and Jon (Aegon) would wear Rhaegars helmet with the dragon wings coming out. That would be epic imo

  7. Also adding to filming time is that more characters will pretty much be filming together. Instead of jon and dany filming one scene in one area and the hound and arya filming somewhere else at the same time. Can't split up filming now with everyone ending up at the same olace.

  8. Can you not make one part of the livestream public & the other only for Patreons?
Another method would be to make the stream public/upload to YT but only take questions from your Patreons.

I'm just saying that, because you're limiting the information and reach to just the Patreons.
You might as well also benefit from your Youtube-crowd and make more people happy.

  9. Does anyone think there's a correlation between the postponement of Season 8 and GRRM's book?  Will the last episode premiere the same time as the book?  Will the show and the book have the same endings or will it be different from the book so as not to be a buzzkill for GRRM?  Any thoughts out there?

  10. Just a question: Couldn't they release Season 8 in Winter 2018 which will add more flavour to the long night as everyone in the Northern Hemisphere at least will be in winter/colder times of the year.. also, it would help sell HBO GOT merchandise related to winter.. just a thought. Its also a time when there are so many holidays and sales seasons across several countries.

  11. This pretty much confirms that season 8 will be released in 2019, which is kind of a bummer. And yes…..I know HBO hasn't confirm or deny this, but it's pretty much a guarantee at this point. Let's hope that the wait will be worth it!
