Isaac Hempstead Wright has revealed how there was originally a scene between Bran and Sansa Stark which filled in some considerable blanks.
Corrie reveals dark new storyline as Billy’s sinister past is revealed
The finale titled The Dragon And The Wolf saw the Stark siblings club together against Littlefinger, with the scheming Lord finally getting his throat slit by Arya Stark.
Many fans however wondered exactly when Arya and Sansa realised they were being played, considering they were both at each other’s throats in the prior episode.
However Isaac Hempstead Wright, who plays Bran, has revealed how there was a key conversation between his character and Sansa which would have given the audience a bit more of a nudge.
Speaking to Variety, Isaac said: ‘We actually did a scene that clearly got cut, a short scene with Sansa where she knocks on Bran’s door and says, “I need your help,” or something along those lines.
‘So basically, as far as I know, the story was that it suddenly occurred to Sansa that she had a huge CCTV department at her discretion and it might be a good idea to check with him first before she guts her own sister.
‘So she goes to Bran, and Bran tells her everything she needs to know, and she’s like, “Oh, s–.’
The actor also revealed whether he’d likely be the one to tell Jon Snow about his newly discovered identity as Aegon Targaryen, saying: ‘I don’t know that Bran has quite got the charisma anymore.
‘I think that would be a bit of a disappointing reveal for Bran to go, “Hi, Jon. You’re the heir to the Iron Throne and I’m back in Winterfell and I know everything.”’
Following his incredible put-down of Littlefinger’s lies, we’d quite like a sassy-yet-unaware Bran who doesn’t give two hoots. Bey Bran, if you will.
