If I judged a game on graphics I would've never played ffvii or kingdom hearts and those are 2 of my favorite franchises. STORY has to be solid and pretty much fuck graphics. I grew up playing Atari so all of you bitching about graphics, your simply not an OG (original gamer). The graphics on here don't look much better then black flag for ps4 and I love that game

If you liked dragon Origins then you should check out Dragons Dogma. The game was produced by capcom and in my opinion I feel they knocked it out of the park. I could never get into Dragon Age Origins, it just felt to repetitive.

Playing the game right now, since it was pretty cheap from steam. I gotta say, it's fairly underrated. So far i'm having more fun with it, than i did with Skyrim. Skyrim, with mods, is a good game, but it was far too overrated. This game has story (maybe too much haha, feel like i'm getting story in my face all the time!). It has borrowed the gameplay from Dragon Age Origins (which i loved), and the graphics aren't THAT bad, just isn't anything special.

i saw a commercial on tv for the tv show… Looked awesome! i have played skyrim and done a shitload of quests and im level 50… This looks awesome! But rather then comparing to skyrim i will say that it looks a lot like Lord of the Rings.. LOTR: return of the king (ps2) in particular

I found dragon age origins way more entertaining then skyrim but i still think skyrim kicked ass I mean come on games need to branch out or it'll get boring and steal for every type of game

yea but this is different, we already have the story.. everyone has seen the movies.. and everyone who knows the definition of a good time has read the books as well. There's no reason why this game should have worse graphics than a game of the same genre released a while ago. And it also seems to have worse graphics than even morrowind, which was out aeons ago.

Also, DA:O is a sweet example. was better than DA2 despite the improvement in graphics and combat.

I feel sorry for all you children judging any game based on its graphics.

yes, the graphics are bad, but let`s look at the gameplay, judging a game by the graphics is ridiculous, look at minecraft =)

Most major studios spend far too much time on graphics and not nearly enough on storyline and gameplay. I was iffy about this game when I heard about it but after watching a few trailers I'm going to give it a try. It's an RPG so for me the priorities should always be Storyline>Gameplay>Graphics. There have been amazing RPG's with poor graphics, and many garbage RPG's with top of the line visuals.

Wait, what? Dragon Age Origin had GREAT graphics for 2009.

Also, Skyrim is overrated on it's graphics. It looks good and landcapes are nice, but without mods, the game is greyish and non-atmospheric, and while from far away it looks great, up close you see horrible graphics like low res textures and quirky models.

GoT's graphics are pretty bad though. The faces look like late PS2 material. But i'll try to see past it and just enjoy the game, for the sake of the ASOIAFnovels I loved.

i hope the combat system is similar to skyrim like right click blocking and selecting item or each hand and power attacks

A mix between The Witcher series and Dragon Age Origins? It must be something great. Yeah, graphics suck, and it does not even get closer to those games mentioned, but it's not bad at all.
