  1. How I hope that the Battle of the Trident will be in Season 8, and not just a flashback either, a full blown battle scene in all it's glory. Or at least the duel between Robert and Rhaegar. Robert's golden armor with antler helm and great war hammer. Rhaegar's black armor, crimson rubies, longsword and shield. Great bravery and sacrifice on both sides. The tensions of all houses, realms, blood lines, and political agendas all culminating in one visceral duel to the death to decide the fate of Westeros…

  2. Show forgetting its own lore, much? Bran from season one said House Baratheon’s sigil is “A stag. A crowned stag, now that Robert’s king.” so I guess they forgot about that. Also how could Barristan Selmy slay Maeles the Monstrous on the Stepstones if the Golden Company “never tried” to invade Westeros before? O_o

  3. I was so excited to see this. We've been waiting so long. I'm disappointed though, I felt like there was too much about the conquest. We have already heard a lot about this in previous History and Lore seasons. I really would have liked more about who blood raven was. I really wanted to hear Ned narrating as well. I feel sad that the show is coming to an end. I have a feeling one of the prequels is going to be Aegon's conquest. I think the dragons are cool but I love the connection the Stark's have with their Wolves and I find that way more interesting. I wish they had covered that in the History and Lore more.

  4. It's kind of weird as each lore video is basically propaganda or a biased view of the events just to show how each side view themselves as the righteous ones. Top-notch narration and animation anyway.

  5. Some people here are so clueless. The stories are narrated through the perspective of the narrator, so it's only natural that they're all a little bent from the truth, just like our history. Great video and animation as always, loved it.

  6. Uh, Viserys, you do realize that you're sort of contradicting your own narration from the Dance of the Dragons back in Season 5 when you say: "A Targaryen Princess tried to steal her brother's throne." In your narration back in Season 5 on the Dance you said that King Viserys I named Princess Rhaenrya as his heir and refused to change the decision even after he had a firstborn son in Aegon II from his second wife. When Viserys I died, Queen Alicent Hightower stole the throne from Rhaenrya to place her son on throne despite Viserys' wishes and Aegon's initial refusal to accept at first. Rhaenrya fought for the throne because by all rights she was the rightful heir, especially since her father had the lords swear fealty to her as his successor before his death, so that wasn't stupidity, if anyone's to blame for the Dance of the Dragons, it's Alicent Hightower, you Bitch-of-a-Beggar-King!

  7. When Littlefinger talks about the past Hands of the King, he didn't mention arguably the most successful, certainly the most cunning and efficient… Brynden Rivers AKA Bloodraven. This guy was Tywin Lannister, Varys and Littlefinger combined into one man. He was also a great warrior and a master of the Dark Arts. In the show he is just some old guy in a tree with no ties to the Targaryens. Probably why he wasn't mentioned here.

  8. 38:57 And that is why Daenerys had such a hard time hating Viserys even in his madness and abuse, because when they were young he kept her alive and at one point sold their mother's crown to by food for her. Viserys triggered his Targaryen madness by years in exile. A sad tale really.
