GAME Of Thrones is casting eight new characters for its final season, with details of the new characters giving fans a few interesting plot hints.
The hit drama, which is likely to air in 2019, has put out a casting call for a “sassy and attractive girl” from the North along with a “colourful young Northern actor” to play a sentry, reports The Sun.
And according to Game Of Thrones fan site Watchers On The Wall, the show is also looking for a mercenary character who will be busy filming the show until next June.
The character is described as, “An authoritative, fit, cool and charismatic military type” and will need to be “able to ride a horse.”
It’s likely that the mercenary role could be linked to the evil Euron Greyjoy (Pilou Asbaek).
At the end of the last season, he was sent to go and retrieve the sellswords of the infamous Golden Company to fight for the plotting Cersei Lannister.
