Game of Thrones is well-loved for its many interactions between fan favourite characters, with many pairings of characters getting at least one scene together over the eight seasons.

Two people who never really interacted, despite spending their time in King’s Landing and having a a lot of frenemies in common, were Cersei Lannister and Bronn of the Blackwater.

Fans generally seem to believe that this is down to actors Jerome Flynn and Lena Headey not being on speaking terms, due to them being in a relationship that ended badly. A fan asked Flynn about this at Nashville’s ‘Con of Thrones’ over the weekend (via HuffPost).

Back in the day (we’re talking 2003), the star said: “We’re not a couple right now, people have seen us together and jumped to conclusions. I can’t rule out a relationship with her in the future, I just don’t know.”

Headey recently admitted that she wanted one specific moment in the Game of Thrones final season to be different. And it’s exactly the moment you are thinking of.

Game of Thrones aired on HBO in the US, and you can also catch up on the show via Hulu. Viewers in the UK can catch up via Sky Atlantic and NOW TV.
