Weeks after it was reported that Kit Harington checked in and out of a Connecticut wellness facility, the actor was spotted catching up with Game of Thrones co-star Ben Crompton over lunch in London. The actor looked happy and healthy.
Their watch at the wall might have ended but Kit Harington and Ben Crompton still met for a quiet lunch outing recently. The two actors played members of Night’s Watch. While Kit essayed the role of the renowned Jon Snow, who knew nothing, Ben portrayed the role of Eddison Tollett, popularly known as Dolorous Edd, on the show. On-screen, the duo gave fans some memorable moments. Now, off-screen, they are giving major throwback moments at they catch up over lunch.
Photos from their lunch rendezvous were shared by Daily Mail recently. In the photos, the two actors are seen having a good time and they munch on their lunch. Kit looked handsome wearing a casual white shirt and a pair of light blue denims. Whereas Ben was seen sporting a black tee and a pair of blue jeans. They were spotted outside Charlotte Street Hotel in London. The British actor looked happy and in great spirits in the photos. Their lunch outing comes weeks after Kit left rehab. This is probably the first time Kit was spotted meeting a Game of Thrones cast member since the show ended.
Soon after the show ended in May, reports flooded the internet confirming that Kit has checked himself into a Connecticut wellness facility. He was seeking treatment for stress and alcohol use. Last month, the actor celebrated his first wedding anniversary with wife Rose Leslie in the UK.
“Since Kit left the Connecticut wellness centre, he is back in London with Rose. The two are enjoying the summer, spending time with family and friends. Kit seems well. And Rose seems happy that he is back in London,” a source told People at the time. Kit has been nominated for his portrayal of Jon for Emmys 2019. The actor bagged a nomination in the Best Actor’s category. Reacting to the news, he told Us Weekly, “Many thanks to the Academy. It’s been an amazing journey with ol’ Jon Snow. I’m thrilled he’s been nominated.”
