GAME of Thrones Kit Harington stars in Shakespeare’s King Henry V being screened live at Settle Victoria Hall.

Next weekend, the hall will also play host to seven piece brass band, King Brasstards and all the way from Austin, Texas, the Hot Club of Cowtown.

In National Theatre Live on April 21, Harington, best known as Jon Snow in Game of Thrones, plays Henry V in Shakespeare’s thrilling study of nationalism, war and the psychology of power.

Captured live from the Donmar Warehouse in London, the modern production is directed by Max Webster (Life of Pi).

King Brasstards, on April 23, are a seven -piece Brass Band, inspired by the sounds of New Orleans, featuring vocals, trumpets, sax, trombone, drums and percussion, along with the mighty sousaphone, playing a mix of well known swing, ska, jazz and pop along with original tunes.

Founded in 2015, King Brasstards have travelled the length of the country bringing their high energy performances to thousands, with three albums in the can.

Hot Club of Cowtown, on April 24 are a hot jazz and Western swing trio blending the traditional 1930s Western swing of Bob Wills and Milton Brown with European hot jazz traditions from the same era.

The band writes its own material and also reinterprets everything from hoedowns to American songbook standards in its unique, original style. It was inducted into the Texas Western Swing Hall of Fame in 2004 and voted Ameripolitan Western Swing Group of the Year in 2015, and has toured with Bob Dylan.
