Kit Harington has revealed the memories he’ll remember now Game Of Thrones has concluded, with meeting his wife Rose Leslie unsurprisingly high on the list.

The 32-year-old actor was among the Game Of Thrones cast at the season eight UK premiere in Belfast, alongside Maisie Williams, Joe Dempsie and Pilou Asbaek.

Speaking to Metro.co.uk at the season eight premiere, Kit revealed what he’ll remember long after the show is done and dusted.

‘Its memories of Iceland and its memories with Rose [Leslie],’ Kit said. ‘And memories at Castle Black with Jon and Ben Crompton. It’s the fun we had in bars and the laughs we had and the taking the p*ss out of each other constantly.

‘No one showed each other too much respect. That’s the great thing we had is that everyone undercut each other the whole time, in the nicest way and the most British way.’

Speaking about the final season, Kit added: ‘I think we’d be doing everyone a disservice if you didn’t tug on people’s emotions, and hopefully we’ve set up enough important characters and stories to really have an impact on our audience. That’s our biggest fear, so many great shows, their final seasons don’t match up to previous ones.

‘I think we’ve got a really good shot at this one being the best and I’m hoping it is. In my book, we couldn’t have put any more effort into it, everyone worked their tits off. I hope people can see that and recognise it and hopefully we’ve done it justice.’

Kit and Rose met on the set of Game Of Thrones and married last year.

Game Of Thrones season eight kicks off 14 April on HBO and Sky Atlantic.
