Game of Thrones stars have settled quite well in the film-making industry. Many of them have worked/are working on big film franchises such as the MCU and DCEU, while many others are doing well in their respective areas. The show’s star Kit Harington, who is famous for playing the fan-favorite character Jon Snow, is further expanding the boundaries of his career by signing new deals, the most recent one being with UTA.
According to Deadline, Harington recently signed up with the United Talent Agency (UTA), which is a global talent agency based in Beverly Hills, California. Established in 1991, it represents artists and other professionals across the entertainment industry. As of 2021, the company has more than 1,400 global employees. UTA has divisions focused on film, television, sports, digital, books, music, video games, branding and licensing, speaking, marketing, fine arts, news, and broadcasting, among others. The agency also operates the non-profit UTA Foundation.
Harington will now be represented by United Agents and attorney Karl Austen. He recently made an appearance in the MCU film Eternals, where he played Dane Whitman, a character who would later go on to don the moniker of the superhero Black Night. Harington’s recent signing means we might get to see more of him in Hollywood films and even TV shows, which is always good news for Game of Thrones fans.
