Game of Thrones stars have been landing major roles in almost every big franchise ever since the show got hit. From Marvel to DC and other great production houses, the film industry has benefitted a lot from their immense talents, but there are times when an actor has to choose between projects and it’s not an easy choice. And sometimes it is the studio that makes the choice for them, as a result, there are times some scenes are cut off from the rest of the film in the final cut.

According to a report by Variety, Game of Thrones star Lena Headey had an undisclosed role in Thor: Love and Thunder, and her former agency is suing her for the unpaid commission from several projects including the upcoming MCU film. There are also rumours that Headey was supposed to play a Valkyrie, with Christian Bale confirming scenes involving Peter Dinklage and Jeff Goldblum – where Gorr is rumored to have killed Eitri and the Grandmaster – have also been cut from Thor: Love and Thunder.

“I got to work with Peter Dinklage. That’s not in the final film but I got to work with him, he’s fantastic,” Bale told the Prensaescenario Youtube channel. “I got to work with Jeff Goldblum. He’s not in the final film, either. As you see lots of stuff ends up on the cutting room floor even though it is beautiful brilliant stuff.”

Thor: Love and Thunder is also supposed to be the shortest MCU film to date, which is unsurprising considering the number of scenes that have been cut. Would you have loved to see the Game of Thrones alum in the movie? Tell us in the comments below!
