This is why you don’t mess with Lena Headey – she’s able to switch into Cersei and unleash hell and we’re so here for it.
The legend actress took to social media on Wednesday night to clap back at a bunch of trolls who have evidently been sharing their thoughts on, well, Lena’s thoughts.
Here’s a spoiler alert, the 45-year-old doesn’t really GAF if you don’t agree with her views on politics or climate change.
‘Ohhhh hi Instaworld, looks it’s me without makeup. Sh*t. Everyone panic,’ she began her video on Instagram.
‘I just want to say, when I post my views I don’t think of myself as highly political, I just think of myself as a human being.’
She continued she cares about ‘climate, my children and their future, my friends and their children and their future, the crisis going on all over the world, the humanitarian crisis,’ before adding the one-two shot.
‘I give a f*ck,’ she said. ‘If that offends you, or you think actors have no place in the world to have an opinion: f*ck off! And unfollow me and I shall not weep.’
That ‘shall not weep’ sounded like something Cersei would say, right on the ruddy money.
It’s not the first time Lena has shot back at online keyboard warriors, as she recently slammed those who told her she should wear makeup.
So now the aforementioned ‘everyone panic’ line makes a lot more sense, eh?
Just not able to help themselves on dishing their opinion where it doesn’t perhaps need to be dished, one user told her: ‘Don’t record yourself without makeup again’.
Yes, this is why we can’t have nice things.
Lena wasn’t taking that kind of comment without naming and shaming, though, as she shared their social media profile and added: ‘I shall continue to not wear make up. Go f*** your self.’
Well this is just giving us all the vibes before we meet Cersei again in less than a month in the season eight premiere of Game of Thrones.
Yass Queen!
For now, because Cersei is totally going down…
Game Of Thrones returns 14 April.
