We are close to bidding farewell to the Red Wedding year 2020. The New Year’s Eve party is waiting for us, and we can’t wait finally to step into a new sunrise of hopes and possibilities. Many of us are planning to get a new start, looking for new opportunities. And most of us are looking forward to watching more shows and movies starring actors from Game of Thrones. Lena Headey, who played the hateful but gorgeous Queen Cersei, will now be seen in the movie Gypsy Moon.
Lena Headey, Sam Worthington (Avatar), Dean Scott Vasquez (Jack Ryan) and Barbara Hershey (Insidious) are set to star in Gypsy Moon. An indie drama from writer and director Gigi Gaston that just wrapped production in Los Angeles.
Headey stars as the title character. She is a burlesque dancer who, on the eve of her last dance, must go on the run to save a neighbour boy (Vasquez). His life is threatened by her ex-longtime lover (Worthington). She finds her real second chance at life in the love she feels for the child.
Lena told Deadline, “Gigi is someone you can’t say no to, you just get caught up with her passion and heart. Going back to my roots of indie filmmaking has been a joy. Moving fast and making what time you have counted, is what I love.”
