  1. The Sopranos is a far better show. ASOIAF is a great series of books but the show has gone off the rails. The Sopranos was basically a perfect show, tragic and compelling from beginning to end.

  2. Well no. There are four key themes one will find in Game of Thrones (though their are lots more these are the biggest). War is bad, feudalism/slavery are bad, feminism is good and religion is nuts. The others will likely help mankind to realise that war is a terrible thing, get rid of fuedalism, and things will start to be less sexist. The religion is nuts aspect will likely never be fixed though.

  3. Usually these videos are great but this one took a sharp left turn and dove straight in the deep end of the sjw pool. Game of thrones is based off a book series that started before the sopranos even went on air and George RR Martin certainly did not write the story with climate change in mind.

  4. In my opinion Game of Thrones isn't about global warming, the first book was written in 1996 before global warming was a thing. I think it's about the negative effects of war, specifically nuclear war. Leaders start wars for honor or conquest but it's the common person on both sides of the conflict that suffer the consequences. Most people are drinking the Dany kool-aid and want her to bring the dragons to Westeros but Dragons are nukes and will only lead to more death, destruction & suffering. I know people are going to say "but what about the white walkers?" & I would point out that they are called "others" in the book which make me think the distinction between humans & others is less than we think. The "other" is a social construct that we have used to justify all kinds of horrible things throughout human history. Again, just my opinion but it doesn't change the meaning in this video. People still need to learn how to die because of the epic changes taking place but I don't think it's about global warming
