Game Of Thrones star Maisie Williams has admitted that she hopes that Arya Stark has embraced her inner Dora the Explorer after setting sail west of Westeros.
The star appeared at San Diego Comic-Con to celebrate the show with a host of her co-stars who all raised a coffee cup toast as an in-joke about the accidental editing fail that plagued the final season.
During the talk, the team discussed the surprising backlash of the final season’s quality and even got booed when they defended it.
But talking of Arya’s future, Maisie joked: ‘I’m sure she’s having a wonderful time, like Dora The Explorer minus the bob, but maybe she’s cut a bob in, y’know?
‘West of Westeros might like the bob, so who knows?’
Bobs are always in fashion somewhere, Maisie!
After 10 years working on the show, Maisie and the gang said goodbye to the fantasy epic, with warrior Arya embracing her inner explorer and heading off to pastures new.
However, while other stars have put a pin in the world that they created, Maisie said that she would be up for a spin-off for Arya – with one condition.
‘If they invent zips and don’t have leather costumes that are laced up, that would be cool,’ Maisie told Entertainment Weekly at Comic-Con in San Diego on Friday.
Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworth) questioned: ‘That’s all you would need?’
‘Yeah,’ Maisie replied simply.
Jacob Anderson, who plays Grey Worm, also said he would like to return as long as he got to spend his days in the Caribbean
‘If Grey Worm stays in Naath and we’re shooting in, like, Barbados, I’m down,’ he joked.
To be fair, that sounds like the perfect job.
Game Of Thrones is available for catch-up on NOW TV.
